Two things I’ve learned as an adult:

1. Always splurge when buying plastic containers for the kitchen. In the long run, it’s cheaper and less of a headache.
2. If you’re a guy, and your hair isn’t thinning by age 31, you should thank your mother profusely and regularly. Male pattern baldness is passed on by the mother. There are some sad, young balding men out there. Seeing your peers start to lose their hair while yours stays thick and healthy is uneasy but thrilling, like narrowly escaping a car accident.
